Santa’s Enchanted Forest owner Brian Shechtman personally runs his seasonal amusement park located in the Doral/Medley area of Miami, Florida. He is also in charge of marketing, primarily working with various charity organizations. The nonprofits and charities that have visited Brian Shechtman’s park include the I Have a Dream Foundation, The Wade’s World Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, among many others.
Mr. Shechtman visits the biggest fairs and festivals in the United States to select the best rides to bring to Santa’s Enchanted Forest. His responsibilities include recruiting and collaborating with vendors to establish their presence inside the park, and he also chooses and schedules unique presentations, such as a sea lion show. The amusement park features over 100 rides, attractions, shows, and games on a sprawling 40-acre lot. There are also food offerings and free parking.
Open annually from early November to early January, Mr. Shechtman’s theme park has entertained holiday visitors for 40 years. Outside of work, he supports charities such as food banks in Miami and Susan G. Komen. A graduate of the University of Florida where he earned his BA in business, Mr. Shechtman’s hobbies include fishing, reading, and tennis.
